Determine Your Browser Type:

Most browsers display their brand name and sometimes the version number when you first start them. However, this startup screen may go off the screen too quickly. Not to worry, simply select "Help | About..." from the main menu once the browser is loaded. The exact menu option may read "Help | About Internet Explorer", "Help | About Navigator..." or "Help | About Netscape..."; but you get the idea.

Enabling Javascript in Internet Explorer:

Scroll down to Scripting and Enable Active Scripting. Click OK.

Enabling Javascript in Netscape Navigator

Select Preferences from the Edit menu. Click on the Advanced Category. Then make sure the Enable Javascript box is checked.

Enabling Javascript in Older Browsers:

Go to "Options | Network Preferences..." from the main menu
Change to the "Languages" tab
To enable: make sure "Enable JavaScript" check box is checked
Restart the browser

Communicator 4.x

Simply reloading the page, rather than restarting the browser, may be sufficient under some browser versions.
