regions first dedicated PET/CT Scanner at the Truesdale Clinic.
The Truesdale Clinic's commitment to patient care continues with
the arrival of PET-CT, the latest technological advancement in the fight against
cancer.
The Truesdale Clinic and Alliance Imaging are pleased to announce
the arrival of the regions first dedicated PET-CT unit. Positron Emission Tomography
(PET) and Computed Tomography (CT) are standard imaging tools that allow clinicians
to pinpoint the location of cancer within the body before making treatment
recommendations. Each test alone provides valuable diagnostic information.
However, they each have their limitations. PET-CT provides physicians with
the most complete and accurate information to assist with the diagnosis and
treatment of cancer patients.

The PET-CT service is provided onsite at the Truesdale Clinic by Alliance
Imaging, Inc.
